Big update to LeaderTask 4.2 for macOS

We took into account the experience of using voice messages and files in the chat for the task on the iOS platform, as well as your feedback on this functionality, and decided to implement these improvements on other platforms as soon as possible. And so we made them in the macOS app. Now it's up to Windows and the Anroid version.

Voice messages 

Now the discussion of the details of the assignment is not limited to text messages and file sharing. Record comments on a task with your voice directly from your Mac device-speed up team communication and task completion.

 

Each voice message from the performer or task manager is displayed in the built-in chat. It is also assigned an exact date and time.

Just go to the task and click on the microphone icon in the lower right corner - recording the message will immediately begin. You can cancel the creation of a voice message by clicking on the corresponding " x " button during recording. 

Everything is done very simply and informative, so that you can immediately get down to business.

Files for the task directly in the chat 

By analogy with the iOS version, we moved the files for the task directly to the chat. Each file attached to a task now has the date and time of attachment, and also displays its owner.

This innovation significantly speeds up the task, as you can immediately discuss the attached files, rather than refer to them in messages. And you don't have to search for a specific file that your colleague is talking about, among many others.

Performance and stability

• We have worked on sorting - the current options for sorting tasks now work correctly
• Added the date and time of the task creation to the task properties by clicking on the ellipsis

• When you click Assign in the task properties, the list of employees is now sorted based on the frequency of assigning tasks to employees. That is, the first in the list will be those employees to whom you most often assign tasks

• Added an access icon for the task in the list, if access is granted to it

We also fixed a lot of bugs, crashes, and visual flaws in the program. Thus, we have accelerated the operation of the application and improved its stability.
