Hotkeys in LeaderTask
Use these hotkeys to quickly navigate to the main program windows, switch between them, quickly create and edit tasks and much more!

Main keyboard shortcuts in the Windows version
Main program options
- F1 - Get help or access the program's website
- F2 - Rename the title
- F3 - Advanced search
- F4 - Call "Filters" menu
- F5 - Invoke "Contacts" menu
- F6 - Open the "Projects" menu
- F7 - Display the "Markers" menu
- F8 - invoke the "Staff" menu
- F10 or ALT - Place the cursor on the menu bar
- CTRL+ALT+A - Call LeaderTask
- CTRL+R - Manual synchronization
- CTRL+O - Settings
- ALT+Q - Exit the program
- ESC - Cancel the action being performed
Ways to switch between windows
- CTRL+TAB or CTRL+SHIFT+TAB - Switches the Navigator section. Moves between tabs
- TAB - Switching between the "Navigator" and "Tasks" windows
- ALT+left-right arrows - Switching the priority of the "Task List" and "Tasks"/"Tasks properties" sections
General operations on windows
- Right-Left Arrow - Expand/Collapse Tree List
- CTRL+E - Show/Hide "Navigator
- CTRL+T - Today
- CTRL+Mouse wheel - Scale the timeline in the "Diary" window
- ENTER; double LC of the mouse - Open an editing area for the task
- Spacebar; double LC of the mouse - Open the editing area for the note
- ESC - Hide "Note" window
Editing the header in the tree
- HOME - Go to the beginning of the string
- END Go to the end of the line
- Right-Left Arrow - Go one character left or right
- CTRL+left-Right arrow go one word to the right or left
- SHIFT+Up/Down Arrow - Highlight or deselect a character to the left or right of the cursor
- CTRL+SHIFT+RIGHT-LEFT ARROW - Highlight or deselect a word to the right or left of the cursor
- SHIFT+HOME - Highlight a portion from the cursor to the beginning of the line
- SHIFT+END - Select the segment from the cursor to the end of the line
Basic operations in the Task window
- CTRL+F - Quick Search
- CTRL+H - Show/Hide completed and cancelled tasks
- CTRL+Backspase - Show/Hide overdue tasks
- ENTER; or double-click - Open editing area for Tasks
- CTRL+3 - Select a task label
- CTRL+4 - Select color of task
- CTRL+PgUp; or Ctrl+PgDown - Next/Previous Color
- CTRL+Space to toggle between "In Progress"-"Pending
- SHIFT+Space - assign "Cancelled" status to the task
- Spacebar - assign to the task the "Completed" status
- Right-Left arrows or CTRL+ENTER - Expand/Collapse the list

- Middle mouse button - Reset Filter in the Filter Bar

- HOME - Pass to the beginning of the line
- END - Go to the end of the line
- Right-Left Arrow - Go one character to the right or left
- CTRL+right-to-left arrow go one word to the right or left
- SHIFT+Right-Left Arrow - Highlight or deselect one character in the directory or to the left of the cursor
- CTRL+SHIFT+RIGHT-LEFT ARROW - Highlight or deselect a word to the right or left of the cursor
- CTRL+Up-Down Arrow - Move up/down one paragraph
- SHIFT+HOME - Highlight a portion from the cursor to the beginning of the line
- SHIFT+END - Select the segment from the cursor to the end of the line
- DEL - Delete item
- CTRL+DEL - Delete the next word
